Born in Sweden, Christian Smith has experienced success on both sides of the pond. DJing at the early age of 15, Smith moved to New York and immersed himself in the electronic dance movement of the '90s. Though he has been recording, DJing and performing for close to 20 years now, his first ‘real' release didn't arrive till 2001 in the form of his mix CD, Tronic Treatment. Known for melding house with tribal techno, Smith's music is able to gel the genres into a harmonious blend of energy. Though he's been absent from the recording scene for a few years, he continues to be highly in demand, regularly headlining clubs and festivals all over the world.
